RICHMOND, VA. (April 29, 2013) - FAS Lane Racing and rookie driver Timmy Hill continued their learning process at their first short track effort together on Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway. The duo battled the handling of their No. 32 OXYwater Ford for most of the weekend before hitting on something in the last 100 laps of the 400 lap event. While steering clear of the late race carnage, Hill brought the OXYwater team home with a 34th place finish in the running of the Toyota Owners 400.

“Going to these tracks in a Sprint Cup car for the first time is a great learning experience for me,” stated Hill. “While I have had four Nationwide Series starts in Richmond and really like the track these Cup cars are just different. The team and I worked hard and it takes more than a few practice sessions to find out what works for me and the car together. So we made a lot of adjustments on the car during the race and each one made the car better. Right there for the last portion of the race we had the car the best it had been all weekend but we were in a position that we just needed to stay out of harm’s way. I really appreciate the hard work of everyone on the OXYwater team – this was another great learning experience for us together as we move forward throughout the season.”

Hill will return behind the wheel of the No. 32 OXYwater Ford in two weeks at Darlington Raceway while FAS Lane Racing heads to Talladega Superspeedway this week for former Sprint Cup Series Champion Terry Labonte back behind the wheel for the third time this season.

“While you always want the best result each week this was another great learning experience for Timmy and our team,” said FAS Lane Racing team owner Frank Stoddard. “What is the most encouraging is that we got the car very good there the last 100 laps. Together with Timmy, we just need to continue to use these experiences and get our No. 32 OXYwater Ford dialed in a little quicker each week at the track. I am confident we will get that done and these learning experiences together are a big step in that direction.”

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – (April 24, 2013) - Timmy Hill and FAS Lane Racing are coming off their best performance together of the young season with an impressive showing last weekend at Kansas Speedway. The rookie driver and growing team combination look to continue that this Saturday night as they head to Richmond International Raceway with their No. 32 OXYwater Ford for the running of the Toyota Owners 400.

“I’m ready to roll into Richmond,” stated Hill. “I consider Richmond my home track with me being from southern Maryland and I would love nothing more than putting on a good show for my friends and family. We made leaps and bounds at Kansas Speedway and I’m looking to carry that speed right into Richmond. I thought the entire weekend at Kansas was phenomenal speed wise but a late race problem cut our day short. With the bad luck in the rear view mirror I am looking for another strong showing on the short track of Richmond.”

Hill, the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, will be making his 70th career start in NASCAR’s top three series as well as his Sprint Cup Series debut at the Virginia track. Hill has four previous starts at Richmond in NASCAR Nationwide Series competition.

Also joining Timmy and FAS Lane Racing this week as Associate Sponsor on the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford for the second straight year will be Holiday Inn Richmond South-Bells Road.

The running of the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway will run this Saturday April 27th at 7:30 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

KANSAS CITY, KS. (April 22, 2013) - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Timmy Hill used his previous learning experiences and success at the 1.5-mile layout of Kansas Speedway to put forth a strong outing in the FAS Lane Racing No. 32 OXYwater Ford on Sunday. However his outing would be ruined after receiving damage from fellow competitors tangling coming off Turn 2. The damage sent Hill and his team to the garage area briefly for repairs before returning to the track to complete the running of the STP 400 in the 33rd position.

“That was just very disappointing,” stated Hill. “The FAS Lane Racing team gave me a phenomenal car this weekend. Our No. 32 OXYwater Ford was fast right off the trailer and after a small adjustment on our first pit stop it was awesome. It is just unfortunate that we got some damage in a melee coming off Turn 2 and it sent us to the garage for some necessary repairs. In all it was a great weekend for me and the team and we look to build on this effort moving forth.”

The 33rd place finish kept FAS Lane Racing in the 37th position in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owners points.

“Timmy and everyone on this OXYwater team did a great job this week,” said FAS Lane Racing team owner Frank Stoddard. “Last weekend at Texas was very disappointing for us but we did learn some valuable stuff that really seems to be helping Timmy get more comfortable. I look forward to more performances like the one we had today in the future.”

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – (April 17, 2013) - Coming off a disappointing weekend in Texas, FAS Lane Racing and rookie driver Timmy Hill are focused on continued improvement for their No. 32 OXYwater Ford as they head to Kansas Speedway. Hill will make his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start of the season in the running of the STP 400 at the 1.5-mile Kansas track on Sunday.

“Heading into Kansas, I have high expectations,”said Hill. “I had my career best Sprint Cup finish at Kansas last year and am looking to back that up with a better finish this weekend. With Kansas just getting a fresh repave, the playing field was leveled in a sense that all the drivers had to relearn the track. I quickly took a liking to the new surface at Kansas and with already having raced there with FAS Lane Racing, we know what to expect from each other going into the weekend. Taking time to regroup from Texas, I have learned a lot and am looking forward to bettering myself as a driver to give FAS Lane Racing and OXYwater the finishes we deserve!”

Hill, the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, piloted the FAS Lane Racing Ford to a 22nd place finish in last fall’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Kansas Speedway. In addition to the one Sprint Cup Series start, Hill has two other previous starts at the Kansas track in NASCAR Nationwide Series competition.

Also joining Timmy and FAS Lane Racing this week as Associate Sponsor on the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford will be longtime partner Aladdin Holiday Inn Hotel Downtown Kansas City, an award winning boutique hotel and day spa.

The running of the STP 400 at Kansas Speedway will run this Sunday April 21st at 1:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

FORT WORTH, TX. (April 15, 2013) – FAS Lane Racing and Timmy Hill know that each race is a new learning experience for them as the growing team and rookie driver tackle the challenge of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition. The running of the NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night was another one of those experiences as the team and driver worked together for just the third time this season. While Hill struggled to get the handling of his No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford to his liking, the 334-lap event proved a valuable learning experience for the combination on their way to a 36th place finish.

“We battled with the handling of our OXYwater™ Ford all night but together we worked hard and learned some things that made the car a little more comfortable for me,” stated Hill. “A big part of the learning experience for me in the Sprint Cup Series is to log laps and complete races. We did that tonight and I think what we learned will help us here in the coming weeks. For sure this was not the end result that we wanted but we will move on and head to Kansas next week.”

The tough 36th place finish dropped FAS Lane Racing to 37th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owners points.

“This definitely was not the finish we were expecting this week,” said FAS Lane Racing team owner Frank Stoddard. “We are still working hard as a team to find out what best suits Timmy and I think we hit on a few things in the second half of the race tonight. This OXYwater™ team will take that and head to Kansas and focus on improving together.”

FAS Lane Racing and their No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford will head to Kansas Speedway this weekend for the running of the STP 400 on Sunday April 21st at 1:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio 90.

Hill will make his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start of the season in the running of the NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night.

“I am excited to climb back into the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford in Texas,” said Hill. “I think the team and I were on the same page on making great adjustments to the car through practice at California but our day was unfortunately cut short. Going into Texas, I have high hopes and I know the FAS Lane Racing team has big hopes to rebound from California with a strong effort in Texas. As a driver, my favorite style of racetracks is the 1.5 mile race tracks. I have always taken a liking to them and had my better runs at the speedways. The high banks at Texas are going to make us have to work on the car to make it fast in all the grooves from bottom to top. That is what I will be looking for in practice and when we get that dialed in, I know we will have a great race!”

Hill, the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, piloted the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford last month at Auto Club Speedway but was plagued by a rare failure and relegated to a disappointing 39th-place finish. Hill has four previous starts at the Fort Worth, Texas area track in NASCAR Nationwide Series competition.

Also joining Timmy and FAS Lane Racing this week as Associate Sponsors on the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford are Front Row Tailgating and Laquinta Inn and Suites Dallas Arlington South.

The running of the NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway will run this Saturday April 13th at 7:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated PRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

FONTANA, CA. (March 26, 2013) – FAS Lane Racing and rookie driver Timmy Hill entered the Auto Club 400 riding momentum with a new sponsor on board and coming off ...

FONTANA, CA. (March 26, 2013) – FAS Lane Racing and rookie driver Timmy Hill entered the Auto Club 400 riding momentum with a new sponsor on board and coming off a strong finish last week at Bristol with former champion Terry Labonte. However, that momentum was halted early at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California after a fitting came loose in the back of the rear end gear on lap 30 put the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford behind the wall for repairs. The team and driver would return to the track but was relegated to a disappointing 39th place finish in the 200-lap event.

“That was a very disappointing race for our team and sponsor,” stated FAS Lane Racing owner Frank Stoddard. “Timmy and the guys on this team did a great job all weekend and we were just taking our time early in the race when disaster struck. It appears we had a problem with a fitting in the back of the rear end that caused us to lose the oil and ultimately the rear gear to break. The guys worked hard to get it repaired and get us back out on the track but we lost a lot of laps in the garage. We very rarely have issues like this so we just need to chalk this one up as one of those rare occurrences that happen during the course of a long season.”

The tough 39th place finish dropped FAS Lane Racing to 36th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series owners points. The finish was the teams worst of the 2013 season.

“This was a tough first start of the season for me,” said Hill. “But everyone on this OXYwater™ team worked their tails off all weekend and that is exciting for the races ahead of us. “As the weekend went on we were getting our OXYwater™ Ford better with every lap and I really felt good about the race until the early parts failure. We will just regroup and head to the next one.”

FAS Lane Racing and their No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford will have a weekend off for the Easter holiday before heading to Martinsville Speedway for the running of the STP Gas Booster 400 on Sunday April 7th at 1:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio 90.
